Executive English Excursions Programme

london museumsA full immersion course doesn’t have to be boring!

It can also be enjoyable, fun and memorable. You don’t have to do the same course as everybody else. You are individuals, so your course should be personalised. Those are our basic beliefs.

All our clients are different, yet all have the same objective; to speak English and understand other people when they speak in English. Classroom lessons help you to improve grammar and vocabulary, but the best way to improve your speaking skills is to speak with other people. Lots of people. Every day.

This is why we incorporated an excursions programme into our courses, so that students can enjoy their stay in the UK and practice their language skills at the same time. The excursions will be educational, interesting and enjoyable.

For this reason we decided to include a substantial excursions programme in all our courses, so that students can enjoy their stay in the UK and also practice their language skills at the same time. The excursions we plan for you will be educational, interesting and, we hope, enjoyable. During these excursions you need to use English constantly and, at the end of each trip, students and teachers discuss that day's activities over dinner.

Scheduled excursions

london excursionsOne or two of your excursions will take in some of the more popular London tourist attractions such as: Buckingham Palace, Westminster, The Tower of London, Hyde Park, Regents Park, St James Park, Trafalgar Square, Greenwich, the Cutty Sark or parts of London such as Knightsbridge and Notting Hill.

Depending on the weather, students usually enjoy visiting the famous street markets at Petticoat Lane or Portobello.

We also usually visit one or more of London's superb Museums or Art Galleries, often combined with visits to the surrounding area.

The more popular museums include: The British Museum, The Natural History Museum, The Science Museum, The Victoria and Albert Museum, The London Museum and The War Museum. Art Galleries include The National Gallery, The Tate Gallery and The Tate Modern.

longleat safariEngland is full of fascinating historic sites such as Windsor Castle, Hampton Palace, Leeds Castle, Hever Castle, Arundel Castle plus Stonehenge and Avebury, and we try to include a visit to at least one of these, depending on your preferences.

Then there are the vibrant University cities of Bath, Cambridge, Oxford and Canterbury. For something different, we can also include visits to London Zoo, the incredible Longleat Safari Park and House, Kew Gardens or The Eden Project in Cornwall.

Optional Activities

Depending entirely on your tastes, we are also able to arrange a huge range of optional sporting or social activities.

palmersportThese could (for example) include an entire day or half-day at Palmersport, where you and your group can enjoy the ultimate in motor-racing experiences.

Other sports you could participate in include paint-ball wars, sand yachting, hot-air ballooning, bungee jumping, go-karting and many others. If you prefer to watch, there are always horse racing meetings and rugby or football matches.

Or maybe you prefer an evening at a West-End Musical? The choice is yours. Please note that requests for optional activities should be made at the time of booking and are not included in your standard course costs.
